38 year old woman 5' 4" originally 315 pounds for a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 56. Had gastric bypass surgery and lost 147 pounds to 168 for a new BMI of 30. About a year later she had lost an additional 30 pounds and now was at a BMI of 24. Three months following an upper arm lift, now at age 40, she underwent circumferential abdominoplasty surgery. She now can wear her daughter's size 6 dresses.

She gradually put some of the weight back on, but was never near her original 270 pounds.  Her weight ultimately stabilized at around 150 pounds for a BMI of about 24.
